VL Audio and VL Sound and Light have been extensively recognized in the Thai sound system circle. VL began establishing a factory to manufacture the speakers in Thailand.
Began manufacturing of speakers, power amplifiers, audio cables, DI boxes, under the brand “VL Audio” and the first product manufactured is “VEDA Serial” distributed in the audio market.
The growth of the business of VL Sound&Light started in this period in which VL has been trusted to perform services in several national concerts and events such as Season of Love Song, Moto GP, Cat Expo, and so on.
Registered the business in the name of VL Light and Sound Limited Partnership officially conducting the business of rental systems of light and sound, stage, structures, including the works of design, installation, and distribution of light and sound devices. Subsequently, it began manufacturing the speakers, power amplifiers applied under the brand “Wave Engine” initiated by Mr. Monthon Suriya.
It began the speakers manufacturing for personal usage in the tours of Carabao, Zu Zu, and the designs and installations of entertainment venues.
Began stepping into the business of rental equipment supporting more various tasks. The business was known as “Hia Sun Equipment” rendering services to the major customers, KITA, Rod Fai Don Tri, and GMM Grammy. Hia Sun contributed to the Tokyo Sound in the production of Stevie Wonder’s World Tour. In 1987-1994, it began the speakers manufacturing for personal usage in the tours of Carabao, Zu Zu, and the designs and installations of entertainment venues.
